Verdict

It is interesting that Hughie Morrison has decided to keep SUNCELEB to maiden company rather than trying to make use of her handicap mark and we will take the hint and stick with her to come good today, while Miss Kittyhawk could prove next best. The selection has had three maiden runs, all over this trip, and has shown that she handles fast ground well. Her most recent run at Salisbury was probably her best effort so far, so she is going the right way, and with the yard in decent enough form we will give her the nod. Miss Kittyhawk made a pleasing debut at Newmarket and should be able to show us plenty more here, so she is given due respect. John Hills saddles Cabernet Sauvignon, who remains winless after seven starts, and is now sliding in the ratings. He looks like making more appeal in moderate handicaps. Altimatum needs to improve plenty to take a hand, while newcomer Whiterocks is starting over an ideal trip for one who will stay 1m 4f, and is one to watch. Sunceleb is given the vote.
