Provided he is over a potentially horrific incident last time we think that ANNES ROCKET has what it takes to return to winning ways here, while Daring Dream and Lady Florence are likely to provide the competition. The selection was attempting to complete a hat-trick and going well when being brought down over a furlong out here last time. From the same mark he clearly looks competitive, he stays this trip and acts on the ground, so he has plenty going for him. Daring Dream remains a maiden after 20 starts and races from the same mark as when in the frame at Yarmouth last time. Improvement may be fanciful, but a reproduction of that last run gives him every chance of taking home some prize money. Lady Florence won a course and distance seller last time and is in good form, though a 6lbs higher mark and the return to a handicap will probably find her out. Monashee Rock has conditions to suit and is 1lb higher than when runner-up at Bath, so he should be thereabouts, while Mr Fantozzi probably needs a drop in the weights to be winning again. Annes Rocket is the one for us.
