        Verdict

        Fortunate Isle is narrowly preferred over Mount Usher and Along The Nile in another tough handicap. The selection was a little unlucky as he found trouble in-running when only beaten a head by My Arch at Ripon last time. That was a solid effort and if he can reproduce that run here today then it should enable him to get his head in front. Mount Usher was a solid third behind Bold Marc at Haydock last time but he does need to be produced fast and late so he will needs things to drop right if he is to prevail tonight. Along The Nile has got some solid form but he was very disappointing at Newbury last time and he will need to leave that running behind here to make the frame. Blacktoft is from a very shrewd yard and is worth a look in the market, but for the winner we will stick with Fortunate Isle who can compensation for finishing an unlucky second last time.
