In depth

Verdict

Jack Rackham can land the hat-trick here at the main expense of Deserted Dane and Daddy Cool. The selection has won his last two races but still looks to be ahead of the handicapper on the evidence of his most recent win over this course and distance when he beat Mundo's Magic. He was slowly away that day, then encountered traffic problems but he still won with a little to spare and he is hard to oppose tonight. Deserted Dane is another course and distance winner and his yard are firing at present, but he was disappointing when a beaten favourite at Thirsk last time and he can't be recommended with too much confidence after that. That Thirsk race was won by Daddy Cool who looks to be on the upgrade and he should give our selection the most to think about. It will be a surprise if Morinqua, Siren's Gift or Bovered are good enough and for the winner we will return to Jack Rackham.
