Bollin Edward returns to the scene of his recent victory and is taken to follow up at the expense of Tedstale Mac and and Baylaw Star. Tim Easterby's six-year-old had been out of luck before everything fell right here last time. He held off the sustained challenge of Jubilee Street by a short head. If he shows the same attitude today he will be hard to pass. Tedstale Mac followed some lack lustre efforts with a pleasing fourth behind Langford at Doncaster. He looks on the way back to his best and will be a danger to all. Baylaw Star has similar claims having been in the doldrums for a few races before running fourth behind Flash Ram at Carlisle. Mamore Gap and Cryfield are two others worthy of a mention in a very open event, but for the winner we return to Bollin Edward.
