Unique Moment can make the most of her draw to beat Blushing Hilary, Celestial Princess and Holy Blessing in the opener. Unique Moment put in a pleasing performance when finishing third to Mick Channon's Royal Power at Thirsk eight days ago, with Blushing Hilary also catching the eye a place behind. The latter in fact ran quite green despite that being her second race so she is entitled to improve, but Unique Moment is preferred on the strength of that debut run at the Yorkshire track. She was sent into the lead three furlongs out, and battled on well when headed. That augurs well for her chance here, and the daughter of Vettori, who is entered in the Watership Down Stud Sales race at Newbury in September, can take this on the way. The Channon yard will have a line to work on as Celestial Princess bids to improve on her down-the-field debut display at Newbury, but she is passed over, while Holy Blessing comes from an in-form stable, but has more to than when fourth in a seller. For the winner we return to Unique Moment.
