        Verdict

        The booking of Greg Fairley catches the eye on Tom Tate's well bred Bold Medicean, so watch this one in the betting, however the best recent form on show could be from Farne Island who gets the verdict ahead of Mambo Sun and Markestino. Farne Island appears to be on the upgrade and was only just beaten by Three Strings at Musselburgh last week. This event looks slightly easier and we expect him to go one better. Mambo Sun has gone off the boil recently but has strong claims on earlier form this season which included an excellent second to Dark Planet here in April. Meanwhile Markestino, unlike the rest of these does boast winning form this season. It goes without saying that this is a very weak affair and Farne Island should be good enough to take first prize.
