Ann Stokell has her horses in tip top form and so we will side with her runner Percy Douglas, who is a sporting selection in a wide open contest, Bahamian Bay and Campeon are two others worthy of respect. Percy Douglas had been steadily dropping down the weights and almost took advantage with an excellent second to Strawberry Patch at Musselburgh last time. He was far enough clear of the rest to suggest the form is quite decent and he can go one better this afternoon. Bahamian Bay comes here at the top of her game having made it two from two this season when dead-heating with Pennel at Southwell last time. She still looks on a decent mark and should make her presence felt. Campeon has been running better than his form figures suggest and he could be the pick of the Milton Bradley pair. The old-timer Paddywack was successful here in June and could be the pick of the remainder, however Percy Douglas, from what looks a decent enough draw, may be the best option.
