Angaric's form figures are quite impressive and he has to be respected, however Xpres Maite looks on the upgrade and is taken to land the hat-trick, Royal Composer may do best of the others. The form of the selection's first win at Wolverhampton looks rock solid, the runner up has bolted in since and the third home had scooted home on his previous run. Xpres Maite showed it was no fluke by comfortably going in next time at Southwell. If that form can be translated to the turf he will be hard to beat. Angaric hasn't been out of the first two this season and lost no caste in defeat last time behind Rationale at Leicester. He has a course and distance win as well and so will be a big threat to the selection. Royal Composer is a consistent sort but as a result is getting no release from the handicapper, however he should still play a major role. All in all a competitive handicap but it is hard to get away from the claims of Xpres Maite.
