Chasing Memories is a far from confident choice in the finale, where Piano Key and Dee Jay Well also merit plenty of respect and head the shortlist of alternatives. Dee Jay Wells rallied against the first-time visor at Warwick last time and failed to run his race as result. The headgear is dispensed with this afternoon and, having previously hinted that he has a race within him, Brian Ellison's charge should not be underestimated. Piano Key is unexposed and seems to be getting the hang of things since she was upped in trip. Her recent third at Warwick reads well (as far as this race is concerned) and she is worth bearing in mind if the market vibes are positive. However, Chasing Memories has valuable experience of this course and, as she has been given a live chance by the handicapper, this looks a good opening for the Brian Smart-trained filly to get off the mark.
