        Verdict

        A chance is taken with Medici Pearl, whose consistency deserves rewarding, while Apache Dawn and Coconut Queen are others to bear in mind in this tricky little contest. Coconut Queen is a versatile filly that won't mind this stiff uphill finish. However, like Packers Hill, she looks weighted to the hilt and needs to post an improved effort to come out on top. Apache Dawn faces a stiff test under top weight and needs to banish the memory of a puzzling effort at Newbury last time out. However, he was very impressive at Newcastle prior to that and many will be willing to forgive him one bad run. Which may help build the odds about Medici Pearl, who, as a previous course and distance winner, should not be underestimated. The son of Medicean is set to encounter ideal conditions and has solid claims of extending the good run of form from Tim Easterby's string.
