Richtee is selected to halt the winning streak of Red River Rebel in the ladies race, while Grey Samurai is worth bearing in mind after he made an encouraging reappearance a fortnight ago. The last named has obviously endured his problems and he may be a candidate for the dreaded 'bounce factor'. The betting market will be a valuable tool to keep close to hand. Red River Rebel is as tough as old boots and will not go down without a fight. He has conditions to his liking and is sure to make a bold attempt at defying his modest rise in the weights. However, Richtee has done very little wrong in races of this nature of late and, having dropped to a very attractive mark these days, the Ian McInnes-trained mare gets the nod to finally deliver on a series of promising efforts at this grade.
