A trappy handicap on paper where even the main protagonists will have something to prove but we'll put our faith in the fact that GAILY NOBLE can turn polytrack form into turf form and score ahead of Diamond Twister and Dubai Crest. The pick ran well in defeat last time behind a well handicapped runner from an in form yard. He's up two pounds for that short head defeat, which seems fair, and with progression likely he should be able to go well although racing on grass will be a new experience for him. Dudai Crest found just one too good last time in a race where the form is beginning to work out well. Despite a three pound mark rise he should still be competitive although there is a suggestion that the ground could be on the quick side. Diamond Twister hasn't shown much on turf in two starts but they came in the early part of his career. He's improved a lot since then and ran to market expectations last time out however his rating looks to be high enough at the moment. Spartan Prince is obviously in good heart after winning a maiden last time but he didn't beat much that day and as a result starts life in this sphere off a high looking mark. More competitive stuff then with Gaily Noble getting the nod.
