Varnay is taken to give David Loder another juvenile success, with the likes of the well-drawn Fishlake Flyer and Delusion expected to make their presence felt. Varnay made her debut in the Newmarket maiden won by Noyac that has already thrown up subsequent winners, including the third and fourth home. As Varnay was not beaten far in fifth after a tardy start, she should improve enough to warrant the utmost respect and keep the Loder winner machine churning over. Fishlake Flyer has been placed a number of times, but was a beaten favourite last time at Musselburgh, while Delusion, very nicely drawn here, will appreciate the better ground after floundering in softish conditions at Thirsk. They can fill the frame but the call has to be Darnay.
