Dear Gracie lost no caste in defeat behind Magic Peak at Windsor last time and should not be inconvenienced by the drop to seven furlongs on this stiff track so gets the vote to go one better here at the main expense of Robema and Sand Sprite. The last mentioned has disappointed so far but it is probably too soon to write off Sir Michael Stoute's filly who may well be better than she showed on her return in what looked a decent maiden at Newmarket. Ten To The Dozen is entitled to come on for his reappearance but needs to if he is to trouble the selection, while Silk Topper is probably best watched on his debut from a yard that is not known for their success with newcomers. Final Award has a decent pedigree but is another that may just need the run and of more interest may be John Quinn's Robema, who made an encouraging debut over course and distance last month. Dear Gracie is the clear form pick though and gets the vote.
