Augustine continues to run well but has been beaten off this mark in each of his last three starts and may now need some help from the handicapper so preference is for the in-form Dium Mac, who is taken to win again with Silverhay rated the best of the rest. The selection as done everything asked of him of late winning his last two starts, at Newcastle and Redcar, and has an obvious chance of completing the hat trick off just a 2lb higher mark than on the latest occasion. Reaching Out may do better than at Newmarket last time back on a faster surface, while Viable would probably prefer softer ground. Riley Boys could be of interest with the yard of James Given back among the winners but he needs to improve on recent evidence and of more interest may be Silverhay. David Barron's gelding has been running well in defeat of late and is entitled to be thereabouts again but Dium Mac has obvious claims and is hard to oppose.
