Some in-form performers line up for this competitive contest including recent Carlisle winner Art Elegant and the consistent Sake but more solid claims are held by Bollin Edward and he gets the vote. The selection has won his last two starts and remains on a fair mark, just 3lbs higher than when scoring at Ayr last time so is hard to oppose with the yard of Kevin Ryan continuing in such good form. Sedge has been running consistently well but could probably do with some help from the handicapper, while Blue Empire has not been running up to his best on the all-weather of late and may now be best watched. A market move for Mick Easterby's Uhuru Peak would be of interest but more solid claims are held by Sake, who has been running well of late and is entitled to be thereabouts again. Art Elegant has more to do under his penalty for his Carlisle success and preference is for Bollin Edward, who is taken to win again.
