Tallyhobye was good value for his win in a Redcar claimer last time and has to be respected but this looks tougher, while Mister Fizzbomb may again have to settle for a minor role and preference is for Alambic. The selection, typically of one trained by Sir Mark Prescott, has had three runs over inadequate trips as a juvenile but makes her reappearance over a more suitable distance and is fully entitled to improve now that she tackles middle distances. Mister Fizzbomb has run respectably in plating and claiming class in his last two starts but this looks tougher, while Collette's Choice is far from certain to stay this trip on pedigree. Meohmy is lightly raced and may be open to more improvement than most of these so makes some appeal along with Michael Bell's Fonic Rock, who should relish the underfoot conditions. Alambic has an obvious chance stepping up to this trip though and looks worth chancing on her debut in this grade.
