Socceroo was an eyecatcher last time and she looks the value call here; the list of dangers is headed by Just Joey, Miss Daawe. The selection is a lightly-raced filly and she caught the eye finishing well back in third in a race won by Red River Boy at Carlisle last time. That was her handicap debut and there should be more to come, so she can go close with the ground to suit. Just Joey won last time when he beat Jun Fan but he is not the most straightforward and his overall profile suggests that he could be one to swerve. Miss Daawe is another that arrives here on the back of a win, but she will find life tougher today under her penalty. Ingleby Princess would have rock solid claims on the pick of her form, but she appears to be in the grip of the handicapper at present and we are happy to take her on. Socceroo is unexposed and she is put forward as the pick.
