Story Of One was a real eyecatcher on debut and she should see off Langston Boy and Favouring. Nick Littmoden clearly thought enough of this horse to put in a 10k claim here last month after her second place. Drawn well and with Kevin Darley aboard, there are a lot of ticks in the right boxes. Langston Boy has certainly faced a couple of difficult tasks thus far and still does not look to be the finished article. In truth, he has not done a lot wrong and should give our selection a decent arm-wrestle. Favouring had no chance after making a tardy start on debut and has been done few favours by the draw. Bold Finesse was easy to back on debut and is watched in the market. A comment that similarly applies to sprint-bred Melalchrist. Story Of One gets the verdict this time around.
