In depth

Verdict

A modest selller can go to Trackattack, who can get the better of Procrastinate and Singhalongtasveer, who are hard to split on the form of last week's run at Hamilton. The last named has been hard to predict, though and is in no way certain to repeat the effort. Procrastinate has been kept busy lately and should be capable of picking up a contest of this nature somewhere along the line. However, he has already had plenty of chances and is not one to rely upon too heavily. Therefore, we prefer to go with Trackattack, who drops into selling grade for the first time. It is also significant that he is Martin Pipe's only runner to be sent north of Haydock this afternoon. The gelding has the capabilities to figure strongly in a contest like this and would have to be of interest if he fares well here and then goes on to make a quick reappearance at Southwell on Monday.
