Those drawn high have a huge advantage over the minimum trip at Beverley and the in-form Sir Sandrovitch has obvious claims from stall 14 but he is better on a faster surface and, at the odds, we would rather look elsewhere with Regal Song getting the vote over Karminskey Park. The selection could not be better berthed in stall 16, has conditions to suit and makes more appeal at the odds than the likely favourite. Sir Sandrovitch comes here in great form but has yet to prove his effectiveness on a softer surface and at the odds looks readily opposable off his new mark. Karminskey Park would have claims if able to overcome a draw in stall seven, while top weight Beyond The Clouds looks a shade high in the handicap at present. The three-year-old Brantwood, who has form on a soft surface, and Petongski, who bounced back to form when second at Newcastle last week, are others to consider but Regal Song looks the percentage call and gets the nod.
