MYTHICAL BLUE is the selection in the nightcap with Mazzola and Night Affair also making our shortlist. Put simply, Milton Bradley's gelding seems to appreciate the intricacies of the Bath course and a 6lb penalty for a recent success might not be enough to stop him adding to his tally. Mazzola has performed creditably in recent weeks without getting the head infront. The handicapper's demotion down the ratings to a mark of 70 could prove a help in turning over that unfortunate statistic. Night Affair makes her first foray onto the turf. She does not appear to be altogether straight forward but there is little doubt that she possesses plenty of speed. Speak The Truth and Riflessionne dead heated here in April. Neither have been able to land a prize since. Leftontheshelf has proved hard to win with over six and seven furlongs so connections have elected to drop down to the minimum. Comments that equally apply to Battle. Rae Guest has a 29% strike rate with his runners at Bath over the last five years so any positivity in the market with relation to Corton Charlemagne should not be overlooked. Mythical Blue is recommended at a place where he goes best.
