POINT OF LIGHT can take this at the principal expense of Dangerous Midge and Master Fong. The selection won an apprentices event at Newmarket last time out and with no penalty accrued for that success, he makes plenty of appeal off tonight's featherweight. Dangerous Midge typically improved for a run as Brian Meehan's horses invariably do. The market will give us a fair idea as to whether the handicapper has done his sums correctly. Master Fong was not disgraced on a step up to this trip. As a son of Dr Fong, any inclement weather should be a help. Dreamwalk is tried in a visor after a lamentable effort last time out. Voortrekker isn't bred for this trip as his dam side is laden with sprint performers. That said, he has shown no signs of stopping over further. Ethics Girl was not unsupported when victorious at Chepstow and is one to watch in the market tonight. Rumble Of Thunder is a previous course and distance winner so must be respected accordingly. Mark Johnston's horses continue in good fettle so Akabend will be popular despite a moderate run last time out. Point Of Light appears the pick in a race that will throw up plenty of future winners.
