The 93 rated FITZ FLYER should prove much too strong for these on his fifth racecourse start here. David Brown's juvenile has not been disgraced in much hotter company than this of late, last time finishing fourth in a conditions contest at Doncaster with some smart sorts in close proximity while previous to that he had finished a close fifth in the DBS Yearling Sales Race at Newmarket. The drop back to five furlongs should not inconvenience him as he possess plenty of early toe. Sharpener has a lot to find on the ratings and does not seem to be going forward as one would hope at this stage of her career. Soft ground at Folkestone would not have been to her liking but after her promising debut at Newmarket it is disappointing she has failed to even manage a place in three starts subsequently. Celestial Dream is a newcomer of note, hailing from a very speedy family while Master Of Disguise was outclassed last time in a competitive sales race but showed some promise on debut at this venue. Langland Bay is another well-related newcomer from the Willie Muir yard. A half-brother to two 100+ rated performers that both won as juveniles, if he attracts support in the market it would be foolish not to take note although the yard are not renowned for first time out winners. Genipabu is another debutant who is related to some smart sorts but purely on what has been shown to-date, Fitz Flyer should be able to shed his maiden tag here.
