Pherousa is becoming somewhat of a near miss merchant so although LUTINE BELL isn't a stand-out at the weights on his return to handicap company Sir Mark Prescott's runner is given the verdict with Leleyf given a chance on his run a couple of starts back. That thinking also brings in Nepotism who on this pick of his form has a claim off this weight and Milton Bradley took this contest last year and his Flaxen Lake is starting to look light in the handicap. Lutine Bell, though, finally got off the mark when showing lighting good over six furlongs on rock hard ground in a maiden last time out. He was well clear going past the five furlong pole before weakening badly toward the finish so this step down in trip looks a good move. Pherousa has missed out by less than a length on her last five runs so while she'll be in the mix again with a profile like that she can't be trusted. Leleyf is 1lb worse off when find just one the better two starts ago so should be close up but Lutine Bell looks a speedy sort and this step down in trip looks ideal.
