Sandy Shaw ran well in defeat last time but her rise in the weights is far from ideal so instead preference in this girls' only handicap is made for FAITH JICARO after her much improved effort last time out and Pastello is considered from a yard in top form. Tallawalla is another to add to the shortlist off a new career low mark but the selection still looks better weighted with a couple of lbs removed for a close up third last time which was a career best in this company. Sandy Shaw only found one the better in a contest that has worked out well last time so while her mark rise is probably fair it is not a stand-out positive. Pastello is only 1lb worse off than his close second to Seasonal Cross over a mile here two starts back and he stays this far so is of interest but in a wide open contest Faith Jicaro can go well from this weight.
