Efrhina has been in good form of late and can give weight and a beating to Papeete, with Donastrela and Ellina best of the rest. Papeete and Efrhina met at Brighton last Wednesday, with Papeete coming out on top to the tune of a length-and-a quarter, Brooke Sanders' inmate defying an absence of 149-days into the bargain. With that in mind she was entitled to tie up in the closing stages and will improve again for the outing. However, the fact remains that she has a six-pound penalty to overcome, and Efrhina is expected to turn the tables on the revised terms. The latter showed herself in good heart earlier when breaking the course record on the Wolverhampton Polytrack, and is hard to ignore. Donastrela was successful over a shorter trip on fast ground here last summer but was not really staying on when fifth over this sort of distance at Salisbury last time, while Ellina was a beaten favourite when last of eight behind today's two principals at Brighton where she was reportedly unsuited by the track. That does not augur well for her chance here, and for the winner we much prefer the claims of Efrhina.
