Verdict

Having banished any doubts that he acts on this ground and still goes well over six furlongs last time out THE TATLING lands the vote in this handicap ahead of Desperate Dan and Satwa Street. The pick was found just a neck wanting behind Desperate Dan in a similar race over course and distance last time and with the terms now firmly in favour of a form reverse the old boy should score. Desperate Dan, though, is a bit of a course specialist so shouldn't be ruled out completely. He does have a six pounds penalty to carry now which might be prohibitive. Satwa Street is given a weight for age allowance so needs to be respected, however his recent form has tailed of a bit while Kyllachy Storm looks unlikely to overturn the form over the leading protagonists after their last encounter. This should be a really competitive contest despite the small field with The Tatling taken to score.
