This isn't a bad claimer where the recent good form of MYTHICAL BLUE is enough to land him the selection against the top rated Sweet Applause and the also respected Dr Wintringham. The pick loves racing over the minimum trip having so far recorded a 50% strike rate from six efforts. He goes well on fast ground and showed he likes this track on his penultimate effort and he should be able to double up after scoring in a similar event last time out. Sweet Applause is still a maiden after 17 starts but is the highest rated in this field by five pounds. Despite this the terms aren¿t really in his favour and he hasn't convinced over this trip. Dr Wintringham on the other hand does seem to have terms in his favour, racing off bottom weight, and while he ran well in one of these contests last time out he is unproven on fast ground. BA Globetrotter was just a neck behind the selection on there last meting so should be close again but there is no obvious reason why that form should be overturned so Mythical Blue keeps the selection.
