    Verdict

Percipient showed improved form when chasing home Reach The Clouds at Plumpton last month but that was only a seller and this looks tougher so preference is for Mr Bigglesworth, who gets the vote over Look To The Future. The last mentioned is capable and will not mind the underfoot conditions but may find one or two too quick over today's trip. Rob Dicken's Cedar has slipped to an attractive mark but has given little sign of encouragement of late, while Quibble is set to go down 4lbs in future handicaps and may be best watched. Alpha Image has been held off today's mark in his last three starts and a chance is taken with Mr Bigglesworth. Richard Guest's gelding has yet to jump a fence in public but won a competitive handicap hurdle at Wetherby off today's mark in convincing fashion last time and if able to translate similar ability over the larger obstacles should be too good for his rivals.
