Fourty Acers can resume winning ways this afternoon at the main expense of He's The Gaffer and Commemoration Day. David Pipe's gelding ran a fair race in the Summer National at Uttoxeter when last seen but should appreciate this less exacting test. He had won his two races prior to that in impressive fashion and should have more to offer after just nine starts over fences. He's The Gaffer was a wide margin winner last time but is on a career high mark as a result. He's got a good strike rate over fences and should be in the mix but looks worth taking on. Commemoration Day is versatile with regard to the trip but the suspicion remains that a truly run race at this trip stretches him despite a placed effort over three miles two to his name. Ice Tea and The King Of Angels are on retrieval missions following poor performances whilst Baodai is probably on a stiff enough mark but has run well fresh in the past. A few with claims but Fourty Acers makes the most appeal.
