Verdict

ORDINARY WORLD has a poor strike-rate for such a useful chaser and was put in his place by stable companion Moon Over Germany here last month. However, his overall form, particularly when runner-up to Min in a Grade 1 at Leopardstown in February, looks too good for these. Cloudy Morning returned from the point-to-point scene in brilliant form last season and was a revelation when landing a lucrative handicap at Punchestown in May by 18 lengths, though that was over 3m7f. Stormey has never won over fences but makes a quick reappearance after being headed close home by Charlie Stout at Galway on Monday. Ard Na Carraig, 0-16 over hurdles, made a successful chasing debut at Downpatrick a year ago but was well beaten on his next start while You Can't Catch Me , five times a winner over hurdles, hasn't looked up to this class over the bigger obstacles.
