Verdict

Blame It On Sally shrugged off a penalty for winning at Goodwood when scoring again over 2m at Kempton. He is upped a further 5lb for this but ANYONECANHAVEITALL can race off the same mark as when runner-up in a higher grade contest at Musselburgh last week and Mark Johnston’s charge may edge the opener. Diodorus was still beaten a long way when runner-up at Thirsk recently though arrives in better form than both Grandee and Cape Cova.

Cape Cova (IRE) 66-1 (10-0) Held up towards rear, took keen hold, weakened over 2f out, last of 11, 16 3/4l behind Where's Jeff (9-5) at Thirsk 1m 4f hcp (3) gd in Sep.

Grandee (IRE) 11-2 (9-10) Tracked leaders, driven and outpaced over 2f out, never on terms, ridden and weakened inside final furlong, last of 6, 4 3/4l behind Cantiniere (9-7) at Wolverhampton 1m 4f hcp (3) pol in Sep.

Blame It On Sally (IRE) 11-4 (8-10) Made all and pushed along at times, pushed along going out on final circuit, went clear over 2f out, hard driven and idled towards finish, always doing enough, won at Kempton 2m hcp (4) pol in Aug beating Johnny Kidd (8-11) by nk, 5 ran.

Anyonecanhaveitall 4-1 (8-9) Led early, led 11f out, ridden over 2f out, headed over 1f out, no impression on winner inside final 75 yards, 2nd of 10, 1 1/2l behind Just Hubert (9-5) at Musselburgh 2m hcp (3) gf in Sep.
