She'stherightone looked as though she would be winning soon when a close third in a huge field at Cork but was firmly put in her place behind NORTHERN EMPEROR over this track and trip. The winner was scoring for the first time on his 35th start but had been running well and it didn't look a fluke. Clear Left hadn't shown much before coming here for a 2m1f maiden which she won by a head and this looks much tougher. Monsieur Bagot has never won in 15 starts but ran very well over 3m1f at Kilbeggan and won't fail through lack of stamina. Fly De Megaudais returned to form at Bellewstown though has never raced over a trip this far.
