In depth

Verdict

Willie Mullins won the first running a year ago and MIGUEL ANGEL can repeat the process. He wasn't particularly impressive when landing a Tramore maiden last month and needs to brush up his jumping but he has the potential to do better and the weight he receives from John Monash and Rise Of An Empire should be enough to see him home. The former has won twice at Perth recently and stays the trip well though he finished a long way behind Rise Of An Empire at Downpatrick in May and Noel Meade's charge looks the main threat. Gordon Elliott also runs Lake Malawi, who had looked progressive when scoring at Downpatrick, with Little Stampy behind, but ran poorly at Perth, while Luckey Seven gained a shock 66/1 victory on his hurdling debut at Sligo.
