Verdict
Dual bumper winner AVELLINO started odds-on at Gowran after a promising run at Navan but couldn't handle Epicuris. The remainder were a long way behind and compensation awaits. The Big Lense, a winning point-to-pointer, has done well enough in bumpers to suggest he'll be winning over hurdles before long and he enjoyed the heavy ground at Limerick last time. The remainder have shown very little with Life Isfor Living disappointing after a fair run at Leopardstown in December and three-times Flat winner Hernandoshideaway well beaten in all three starts over timber.
