Verdict
Spinning gets a speculative vote over Primo Way, Flylowflylong, Stolen Glance and Skylarker. The last named was a useful handicapper for Stuart Kittow two years ago, but has been absent since then. Now with Tommy Cuthbert, he could be a big danger if anywhere near fit, and the market will tell us more about what is expected. However, we prefer to row in with Spinning who hails from a very much in-form stable, and who should now be spot on after two runs this term. The last of them was at Musselburgh last month where he shaped very much as though today's trip would be more suitable, and he may have more scope than most here as well. Primo Way scraped home by the narrowest margin here eight days ago and has it to do under a 6lb penalty, while Flylowflylong had the run of the race at Hamilton in a fillies' affair three weeks ago. Stolen Glance is not as well treated as on the all-weather so is hard to fancy, and all in all it can pay to take a chance on Spinning.
