In depth

Verdict

Tawnybrack can land the opener at the expense of Siesta and Extractor. The selection ran with credit from a non favourable draw on his debut to finish fourth of thirteen at Newcastle. He looked to have run very green that day and with improvement almost certain to come he will take all the beating. Siesta comes from a yard that do well in these races but she failed to trouble the judge on both runs to date. Having said that she will come on for her seasonal reappearence and is worth noting in the betting market. Extractor is a maiden after five starts and has looked no world beater. She did though show some promise at Lingfield on the all weather last time out to suggest that he could win a small race of some kind. He also comes from a top yard and therefore has to be respected for that reason alone. But for the winner we return to Tawnybrack who looks the pick on the form book.
