Bolton Hall is being kept busy and he is a tentative choice in this company. Shy Glance and Society Music have to be respected as dangers, while Kenmore, although a touch inconsistent, is on a fair mark just now and would be a threat if it could be guaranteed he will turn up with his mind on the job. The trip is also a concern for James Given's charge and he may be best watched on his first attempt at a mile. Society Music is a tough and consistent mare that thrives on her racing. Having won off a 4lb higher mark in the past, it is feasible for her to make an impact again today; so a betting move would be folly to ignore. Shy Glance represents a shrewd yard and is in good heart just now. Further drying of the ground will suit Peter Montieth's runner and a bold show cannot be ruled out. However, preference goes to Bolton Hall, who has been given a real chance by the assessor of late and he has responded with a series of decent performances. The gelding has won off a 9lb higher mark in the past, so Richard Fahey's charge just edges as the best in at the weights.
