    Verdict

Even Bolder can follow up at the expense of King Egbert, Silver Prelude and Scarlett Heart. The opening sprint handicap over the minimum distance gives Even Bolder a good chance of adding to his first career victory that came over six furlongs in maiden company here last month. He was always up with the pace that day, and in the end managed to hold on narrowly from Tarkamara who was rated 16lb higher. The drop back in trip should not pose a problem, and with Frankie Dettori booked to ride, he gets the vote from what looks a favourable draw in stall eight. King Egbert came late to score at Yarmouth just three days ago, and carries a 6lb penalty. The drying ground helped his cause at the seaside track, and he will not mind this return to the all-weather. Silver Prelude also got back to winning ways at Yarmouth recently, and is far better handicapped these days, but has a low draw to overcome, while Scarlett Heart went close at Windsor three runs ago, and so is also worth bearing in mind. The pick though is Even Bolder.
