Dansimar has a string of placed efforts to her name, and can now come good at the expense of Shine And Rise, Natural Action and Kavaloti. This is all about stamina, and the selection certainly has no problems on that score, having finished third over 18-furlongs at Chepstow a fortnight ago. Given that she played up at the start, that was not a bad performance, and she had earlier looked capable of opening her account when second over 14-furlongs at Redcar. Two miles looks just what she wants, and off a fair mark, Mick Channon's filly has every chance of opening her account. Shine And Rise is a big danger, and in truth probably sets the standard on his close second to Alleviate at Haydock, giving 8lb to the useful winner. Natural Action has already opened his account, over 14-furlongs at Lingfield, and that was no more than he deserved after being swept aside by Tempelstern at Yarmouth the time before, so he is one for the short-list as well, while Kavaloti has it to do with Shine And Rise on a line through Alleviate. First-time blinkers may light up Fraternal, and it would not do to put a line through his chances either, but Dansimar gets our vote in the finale.
