    Verdict

Van Bossed disappointed last time but has strong claims on previous form and is chosen ahead of Wotashirtful and Red Wings. The Dandy Nicholls trained colt made his debut here in July and showed plenty of promise, finishing fourth to the 83 rated Kalhan Sands. He may not have stayed seven furlongs last time out when well supported and the drop to the minimum should suit. Wotashirtful has done little wrong in four races to date and made the favourite Sophie's Girl pull out all the stops at Thirsk last time, he looks to be the main danger. Red Wings has come up against some decent enough types in three maidens and is from a yard that keep banging in the winners. Grudge and Presidium Star make up the field but look to have a bit to find and so we return to Van Bossed as the most likely winner.
