        Verdict

        A very weak looking handicap and it could pay to follow Toy Top, with Miacarla. Blackheath and Bollin Franny the best of the rest. The selection landed an apprentice handicap last time out, making all the running from a poor draw to beat today's rival Miacarla. The runner up is a pound better off this afternoon so should get a bit closer but shouldn't realistically reverse the form. The old-timer Blackheath keeps putting in decent efforts but as a result is not getting any respite from the handicapper. However he could again pick up some place money. Bollin Franny is starting to look a well handicapped horse and it would be no surprise to see this one go close as the stable is in cracking form at present. Toy Top though won with a little in hand last time and he can make it back to back victories.
