Brigadore was never able to get competitive over the minimum trip at Hamilton on Monday and will be much better suited by the return to six furlongs today so gets the vote to resume winning ways at the main expense of Zhitomir and Dorn Dancer. The last mentioned has been running consistently well of late but has paid the penalty at the hands of the handicapper as a result and David Barker's filly may be best watched. The London Gang has yet to prove his effectiveness on ground this soft, while Dancing Deano probably would not want the ground to soften up to much. Word Perfect has slipped to a fair mark and could be of interest, particularly if the market speaks in his favour, while Zhitomir has to be respected on recent form including on this sort of a surface. Brigadore was good value for his Warwick success over this trip two starts ago and looks worth a bet back over six furlongs today.
