How's She Cuttin' gets a tentative vote over the likes of Bond Becks, Carcinetto, Flying Tackle and Trumpita in a wide-open start to proceedings. How's She Cuttin' has more scope than most of these, having had just the three runs so far. David Barron's filly absolutely revelled in the testing conditions at Ripon last month, making all of the running, and does not appear to be harshly treated on this, her handicap debut. With conditions to suit again, and drawn low in stall three, there is every reason to believe that she will run a big race. Bond Becks has yet to prove that he can handle cut in the ground, but there is no getting away from the fact that Bryan Smart's charge is very, very well handicapped on form of old. Carcinetto has ground conditions against him, but has been quite consistent, while Flying Tackle did well from a poor draw at Chepstow, and is another to consider if handling the going. Trumpita finally came good over the course-and-distance last time, and as that was on good to soft ground, will have his supporters, but he is rated a good few pounds behind some of these. How's She Cuttin' has plenty going for her, and should go close.
