Confirmed mudlark DISTANT PLEASURE gets the nod here ahead of Lambrini Lace, Only A Splash and Downhill Skier. Admittedly the selection has been disappointing so far this season but this is her time of year and with the stable and jockey in good form, there is reason to think that she'll bounce back to form now returned to her favourite course and distance. Downhill Skier has been holding his form well of late and the return to this trip should not hold any fears, although the ground might, whilst Obe Gold bounced back to form last time out. Ishiadancer won a weak maiden at Redcar last time out but this mark of 64 back in handicap grade looks tough, Daring Dream and Russian Music come here on the back of a good run, whilst Only A Splash¿s recent win came good on soft ground at Ripon in July and it would be no surprise to see a return to that sort of form today. Lambrini Lace loves some give undefoot and has to be considered, however she may prefer a shorter trip and so it is confirmed stayer Distant Pleasure who is nominated.
