There's no denying that Bagber is on top form but he doesn't look thrown in at the weights now back in handicap company so instead we like the look of Godolphin's EMIRATES CHAMPION now the colt is massively downed in grade and Magic Echo also makes the shortlist. After winning a very warm looking maiden on his only start as a two-year-old the selection found listed company too hot to handle on his seasonal reappearance. There was no disgrace in that as he was beaten by some smart looking types and he looks well treated on his first handicap start. Bagber is hat-trick hunting here but those two previous successes have come in a maiden and then a claimer and judging on his previous handicap attempts his rating looks a little high. Magic Echo is best over this trip and looks weighted to run a big race as his rating drops below the 80 mark for the first time since winning in April 2008. At just a pound above his last winning mark Wee Charlie Castle is also of interest but it could be that Emirates Champion is a class above these and he also looks good at the weights.
