Verdict
Nothing in this handicap jumps off the page so given the open nature of the contest we're chancing on a value choice of MOZAYADA as Clive Birttain's runner is now back to a much more competitive mark while Compton's Eleven is also dangerous at the weights but out of form and Mandarin Spirit is also in our thoughts. Having struggled under high marks since winning over a mile at Thirsk the selection is now weighted at just three pounds above the rating he carried to victory that day. On the pick of his all-weather form he looks very light in the handicap and in this company he looks a leading player. Compton's Eleven is on a long losing run but should be respected now at a new career low rating. Mandarin Spirit showed a spark of form under this burden last time so is respected while Eastern Hills is another looking good at the weights with his jockey removing five pounds from his load. This is a tricky conundrum to solve and Mozayada looks a good value play.
