Verdict

A wide open contest rounds off proceedings in which jockeyship is all important but the principals look to be Lord Eurolink, Lost Spirit and Rainstorm but the sporting each way bet may be Mr Mischief. The gelding from the Patrick Haslam yard was well fancied last time out over this trip but he pulled to hard in a similar race. In the hop that he can be held up for a late run in this big field he should go well at a big price. Lord Eurolink rates the main danger he was a good second behind Freeloader last time and the third from that race Stallion has since franked the form so he will not be far away. Lost Spirit will make a bold bid to make all the running but he may not get his own way in front in a field this size so for that reason he is opposed. Rainstorm is also worthy of respect he always runs well in these types of races but he gave the impression the handicapper had caught up with him when fourth behind Cool Temper last time. Of the remainder Top Of The Class always runs well on this track and is worth noting in the market but we are happy to take an each way chance on Mr Mischief.
